quien somos | who are we

Lav’s Cafe was founded by Lavender Gonzalez. Born and Raised in South East LA County, Xicano Culture was the inspiration behind it all.

Not just another coffee spot. This one is for the people from the hood who feel like outsiders when they walk into other coffee shops. Our drinks are an extension of the culture that makes us brown and proud.

Good things do come out of the hood.

With dreams of creating a space para la comunidad, Lav’s Cafe hopes to open up a brick & mortar shop that employs past convicts, hosts workshops for our youth, and heals the hood.

Why? Because the hood deserves good coffee tambien.
